just trying to make the most of my time.
in the past 2 years i've has my fair share of fortune- i built and grew neura.fyi to a few thousand users, turned down funding for a separate startup twice, hit what felt like a low point at least once, met some amazing people, let go of some amazing people, and rediscovered my love of jazz.
unlike most, my love for tech and business didnt compel me to learn to code at 8, nor start my first business at 12. in fact it took 19 years (and a tonne of trial, error, and unhappy bosses) to finally find the thing i didnt dread doing for the rest of my life- building cool things for others.
this led to the birth of various products- some worked out, most were complete failures, but none were unsuccessful- each was a new lesson in its own, and helped with the next.
more recently, I co-founded Outpace, a product and venture studio focused on building and investing in products that fuel my optimism. we've incubated Relay, a social training platform, and have worked with some of the best people in the tech space to bring their visions to life.
i'm not obsessed with unicorns or exits. i'm more interested in meaningful momentum—products that make people feel something, tools that make the hard simple, and ideas that spark a YES moment from the right person.
when im not building, im usually out running, reading or doing absolutely nothing (haven't got this right yet).
i also occasionally write about my experiences related to all of the above. drop your email down below and ill send them through if i ever decide to publicize any.
